Iris sibirica Tipped in Blue

Blue-white standards contrast nicely with the inky blue-purple falls. The falls are rimmed in a wire-thin band of white that highlights the gentle ruffling of the flowers. This new blue two-toned iris has extremely vigorous flowering habits, often pushing up more than one stem per fan

The genus takes its name from the Greek word for Rainbow and the array of colours available in the various groups of Iris do that name justice. As with the Hosta we have selected just a few varieties to showcase the Japanese Iris (I. ensata) Bearded Iris (I. germanica) and the Siberian Iris (I. sibirica).
