Creamy white ruffled standards, their edges tinted very pale lavender. Nearly horizontal falls with a beautiful wide amethyst border (approx 1.5 cm). Orange beards with bright yellow shoulders right along to their ends

The genus takes its name from the Greek word for Rainbow and the array of colours available in the various groups of Iris do that name justice. As with the Hosta we have selected just a few varieties to showcase the Japanese Iris (I. ensata) Bearded Iris (I. germanica) and the Siberian Iris (I. sibirica).
