‘Fire Frost’ has lovely, warm leaves of yellow to lime with a large red centre frosted by a strong white veil. Breeding with H. villosa hybrids has given it the larger leaves and habit as well as a tolerance to heat and humidity. Great in a container or in the garden bed
Heucherella Fire Frost
Description
Heucherella (Foamy Bells)
Family : Saxifragaceae
These tough ground covering perennials are the result of crosses between Tiarella and Heuchera and inherit their attractive foliage colours from the Heuchera side and the cut leaved shapes from their Tiarella parentage. The foliage makes a beautiful backdrop to the masses of white or pale pink foamy like flowers that provide the reason behind the common name.
