Delphinium elatum Highlander Flamenco

compact stems are filled with fully double frilly flowers of a mulberry rose colour

Description

Delphinium (Perennial Larkspur)

Family : Ranunculaceae

As the Queens of the perennial border, these stately plants prefer moist humus rich soil. While taller types need some support, the Highlander and Queen series remain compact and self supporting.

Plant in full sun,  while protecting the base of the plants from excessive heat. Excellent as a cut flower many varieties will re-bloom if cut back directly after the first flower has finished.
