Walter Blom Plants Coreopsis Highland Blast

Coreopsis Highland Blast®

Not Hardy, continuous maroon flowers edged with gold very striking

Description

Temperennials

There are a number of Perennials that struggle to survive through our colder wetter winters especially in Northern Europe. We have taken the decision to group these together in their own “Temperennial” section just to warn you that they cannot be left cold and wet through the winter period

Coreopsis (Tickseed)

Family : Asteraceae

Few perennials produce more flower than a Coreopsis. Their long flowering period with an attractive range of colours make them deservedly popular. The Limerock series should be treated as a 1 year container or bedding plant as they are not reliably winter hardy but few plants can match their flower power.

Grow in full sun in well drained fertile soil. Coreopsis are quite drought resistant.
