Upright plants are topped by elegant clusters of large, 5 cm bellflowers, young buds are deep purple, opening to pale lavender luminous bells, up to 30 flowers appear from each shoot results in a dazzling bicolour show.

Great border plants, flowering from May through the Summer depending on species. Many varieties will re-bloom if cut back after their first flowering.

Campanula prefers a more alkaline soil. Plant in borders in full sun to part shade. Good for cut flower.
